Adam Robinson has died. He is a 45-year-old American technology entrepreneur. Many know him as the founder of Retention.com and RB2. He was among nine people killed in a Learjet 60 crash. The $2 million chartered flight was heading towards the Bahamas from Texas. It unfortunately went down near Greenacres.
It immediately went down into flames, killing all nine people aboard. In a joint statement obtained by Newsweek, the victims’ families confirmed that Robinson, his wife, Helen Sharp, their children Emma, 4, and Charlie, 2, and three others were among those killed, sharing the news “with broken hearts.”
Adam Robinson was widelyknown in the marketing technology industry. He is known for creating platforms that helped businesses identify website visitors. The platforms also ensured businesses improved customer acquisition, and generated more sales leads.
Many people know Robinson for building multimillion-dollar software companies. This is without counting heavily on outside investors. His three tech companies reportedly generated approximately $35 million in combined annual revenue at the time of his death.
What Companies Did Adam Robinson Own?
Adam Robinson is linked to three marketing technology companies. They are Retention.com, RB2B, and MoltSets. Retention.com emerged from GetEmails. This is a platform launched in 2019 to help online businesses identify visitors ad improve email marketing strategies.
This is actually one of his most successful ventures. Reports seem to suggest that Retention.com reached approximately $22 million in annual recurring revenue after four years of development.
Adam Robinson also launched RB2B in March 2024. This is a business-to-business marketing platform that helps companies identify professional visitors to their websites. It also helps connect them with potential customers. Adam Robinson’s portfolio later expanded to MoltSets, a company focused on identity and audience data.

It is reported that the three businesses operated with a shared workforce of approximately 32 employees. They also generated around $34 million in combined annual revenue. Robinson announced on November 1 (the day of the accident) that RB2B had reached $10 million in annual recurring revenue, while MoltSets was approaching $1 million.
The exact net worth of Adam Robinson’s wasn’t really known at the time of his death. Sam Parr reportedly estimated Robinson’s personal wealth at approximately $6 million (May 2025). This was without his business interests.

All in all, his actual fortune, including his ownership stakes in the three companies remains unknown.
Beyond his financial success, Adam Robinson was widely known for promoting an alternative approach to building technology companies. His death will be a huge miss to the technology world considering he was helping change it for the better.
